Terms and Conditions
The following is the standard Terms and Conditions agreement for Sapphire Productions Videography services.
1. PAYMENTS - An initial reservation fee of $150 is required with the signed contract to hold wedding date. Reservation fees are non-refundable. This fee comes off the total package price. The remaining balance is due at least 10 days prior to your wedding date. A $100 late fee will be charged for late payment and will cause delays in production.
2. RESERVATION OF TIME AND DATE - This contract constitutes an order for one wedding DVD production. Upon execution of the contract and receipt of the reservation fee, Sapphire Video & DVD Productions will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will make no other reservations for that time and date. If full payment is not received at Sapphire Video & DVD productions 10 days prior to the wedding date, Sapphire Video & DVD productions may cancel the reservation without further notification to the client (verbal or otherwise).
3. DELIVERY OF FINISHED PRODUCT - A completed production is usually delivered to the client within 8 weeks of the event. All client-supplied material must be received at least two weeks prior to the wedding to avoid delay of the finished production. No DVD or videotape, either in progress or completed may be removed from the studio premises unless the balance has been paid in full.
4. All Sapphire Video & DVD Production weddings include: Wireless Lapel Microphones, 2 or 3 camera ceremony, 2 camera reception, professional editing, and DVD's with Custom Chapter Points.
5. Contract camera time begins one hour to the scheduled starting time of your ceremony and is based on continuous hours on the clock. Sapphire Video & DVD Productions is the priority videographer and will have first choice in video camera locations.
6. Payment should be made as follows: A non-refundable reservation of $150 is required upon signing and returning a contract. Payment can be made in cash, cheque, money order or by direct deposit. Payments must be paid at least 10 days prior to your wedding date.
7. Raw footage is retained by Sapphire Video & DVD Production for 7 years. Sapphire Video & DVD Productions reserves the right to use the original tape, excerpts and/or reproductions for display or promotional purposes.
8. Meals - If meals have not been ordered for the videographers, the client will allow a 45min meal break.
9. Sapphire Video & DVD Productions is not responsible for loss of video or audio quality due to the restrictions at event locations. Due to the nature of live events, Sapphire Video & DVD Productions cannot guarantee content or quality of the video production.
10. Should the event be postponed or cancelled, the reservation fee of $150 paid is not refundable.
